IES profiles

Hey all,

I just learned about IES profiles which are files that can tell a 3d program the distribution of light that certain lightbulbs have. This comes in really handy when trying to make lights look realistic. I was wondering if Purelight supports IES and if not, I think it would be a really cool feature to have.

I've never heard of an IES profile file before. I'll have to take a look into them.

Is there any news on this? IES is huge in the archviz industry and it would really be a great addition.

I did find the file specification for IES profiles. Its on my list of things to look into adding in.
