Memory Leak - Grenade Launcher

When running forwards into the line of fire whilst firing multiple grenades about 5 or 6, the game crashes. Looks like a memory leak, but could be wrong - anyone else have this problem?

try to remove the decal definitions.
there are some bad bugs in decal's rendering.

I have had this problem, I notice it when I have water in my level

Thanks Picasso, although I'm sure it has to do with too many objects on the screen at the same time flooding buffers while taking fire/explosions from the grenades as you walk through them. I don't get this problem when standing still while firing multiple grenades. I also noticed a big drop in memory at this time, so it may be related to a memory leak, hence my title. Could be totally wrong of course!

Rapid fire/explosions generate decals.
So when you have 7-8 decals close each other T3D will crash.
AL/BL - no matter.
Temporal solution is removing the decal generation and wait for a fix.
I take no thought we'll see bug fixes during the holidays.

Is it a crash or is it a GPU lock-up that requires you to reboot the computer?

I have had a lot of GPU lock-up when using particles or explosions in missions with water.

Thanks all. Hopefully GG will come up with a solution since it is still a problem with 1.1 alpha, and hopefully fixed in 1.1 beta.

@ Aun - crashes the game, and exits. Running Vista, 768 meg graphics card Geforce 9600 GSO. Core 2 Duo, 3 gig ram.

[Edit] I saw someones thread about this around beta 3 or something like that. I don't know what to tell you.

I have same problem, it happens if i run and while firing multiple grenades. ty for typs here, and i will try out the decals.

I think this may have been resolved in 1.1 BETA 1 with a patch somewhere on the forums to do with buffers.

Confirmed as fixed for 1.1 Beta 2.
