T3D 1.1A - Adjusting view Distance on ground cover

I see a setting called shapeCullRadius but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'd like to keep some of my grasses and other ground cover from 'popping up' so much as you walk. Am I missing something?

They should be fizzling in/out rather than literally popping as they did prior to 1.1a. I believe the distance at which this occurs is not yet exposed.

Oh if you are using meshes in your GroundCover they need to have an autobillboard node. Probably that is why they are popping instead of fading because they get to the billboard distance and do not have one.

no, I'm just using billboards...it's not terrible...I'd just like to set it out a little further.

I'm not seeing any "fizzle" with the GroundCover texture - just popping in and out with distance.
