Just trying to explore the map in the demo game with the world editor. But when I try to rotate the camera with the right mouse button and a mouse move, the camera take a 90 degre angle from the ground and stock like that. So it just like waking the head up alway looking to the sky. And when I rotate everything go very rapidly...
Stock with that, can't do mutch. Not able to select anything while always looking to the sky...
Same thing with any Camera/World Camera and Camera/Player Camera setting.
Same thing in the game then in the qworld editor..
For the moment, I reconfigure the arrow to replace the mouse to be able to do something....
I try the same installation on another computer = no problemo ?????
I am on Vista
Any idea
Thank's

Have you checked that your display drivers and DirectX runtime is up to date? The only thing I can think of is maybe a mouse driver issue or maybe try swapping the mouse with one from another PC (could be super-sensitive and you only really see it in the game)?

I have this problem at times as well. I thought it was just my mouse. When moving around I'll suddenly wind up looking at the sky, but in my case it just snaps to that position and i'm able to move it back to where I want it.

I have had what Chris describes happen to me while playing pc games, though not in Torque. I tracked it down to my optical mouse losing tracking which can happen if the surface it is on is too reflective / high-specular. A black matte is best.

May have been fixed in 1.1 Beta 2 but this exact samw problem is causing me to pull my hair out..(not much room left for that). Been a member since 2006, left for a few years and thought I'd see what's changed. Upgraded to 3d 1.2 and started porting my old 1.4.2 assets. Things worked fine for a while then boom! Recompiled all in 2010 (no errors) recompiled through torsion (no errors), verified all drivers updates etc.. Created new empty project, compiled with no errors.. NO DIFFERENCE.. Still can't look at anything but the sky as soon as I touch the mouse.. Searched resources and this is the only thread I found.. Has anyone found a fix.. If I can't resolve this soon I guess It'll be a no-brainer on the purchase of Unity Pro..
