AFX version for MMO Kit

I am looking at making a small/example MMO for a school project (and the experience), and I would like to use the Torque MMO kit.
I would like to use the TGEA version, and it looks like the latest is for TGEA 1.7.1.
I see that AFX 2.0 is for TGEA 1.8, so what I am wondering is: Will AFX 2.0 work with TGEA 1.7.1, or will I have to use the older version of AFX 1.1.2. (or is there a MMO kit version out there for 1.8 that I am not aware of?)
Is there recommended versions of TGEA/MMO kit/AFX that work best together?

I'm not sure how Jeff runs things, but theres a half chance that previous versions of the software may be available.
Looking at your profile however, it would seem that you would probably have to purchase the Pro version of Torque 3D to become a TGEA owner and qualify you for purchased of AFX.
Your best bet would be to email either Jeff or Derek? and ask them specific details, i wouldnt want you to shell out abunch of cash and not get what you need, tho i dont really see what would be to gain by not allowing use of a previous version, but its not my software :)
