how to implement Color Picker Gui

Hi, I am trying to implement color picker Gui, but till now some one week has gone, no any progress on this issue, i tried the Guicolorpickerctrl, but it did not pop up a dialog to for color choosing when i clicked on Guicolorpickerctrl object.
