MMOKIT and Torque 3D

Hey guys,
I would have asked this at the mmoworkshop, but they are still down....
I have used the mmokit for a long time with TGEA 1.7 and would like to "upgrade" it to Torque 3D.
I want to know how big and complicated it would be to port Torque 3D to the mmokit and where I will need to start. It would be great if anyone can give me some info on this.
Thanks in advance
(Hope this is the right place to post this topic)

just becuase MMOKIT is open source, you still are required to have a TGE(a) license to even use the MMOKIT with a torque product. I believe that Josh does have a licence for his Repopulation game.

So I was wrong about the license...
I should probably wait for the mmoworkshop to get back online.

Yes, I know that Josh has a license. What I meant was that I know that Josh and J.C are successfully using the MMOKIT with Torque 3D. So I was wrong about the license...

you probably should get a licence too before you use the MMOKIT with Torque.

Yes, I will do that Edward. Thanks anyway for correcting me about the license.

i thought the mmo kit isnt for licensing anymore and is OoB as of july 09. Could be wrong, but that is what i found posted about the kit.

I have a build of the kit for T3D in our internal svn and have been working on it every week. Will have more information probably on the mmorpgmaker website when it is done. You will most definately need a T3D license though as the way things were done before is not going to slide because of license changes. Hoping that the artist version whenever it comes out will be enough to satisfy a valid license so those who have TGEA can get it at a decent price.

Sorry, do not follow every thread (I do follow a lot though). Brandon is right, most of us are at the mmorpgmaker website and some resources have been reposted on Leathal's wiki there. Hoping PG decides to stand up another server at some point, but it doesn't seem to be a high priority.I have a build of the kit for T3D in our internal svn and have been working on it every week.
