Can cinemas be made through gameplay?

I am trying to make a game where the player effectively plays an as an actor on a stage. The gameplay boils down to dialog trees and stage actions. Once the player has completed the scene, players are allowed to watch their performances as an audience member. These "recordings" would not have the pauses at dialog prompts; other minor modifications would also be included.
Is Verve a/the tool to dynamically create cinemas and then play them back?

The demo recorder still works last time I checked as of TGE 1.5.2 and TGEA 1.8.1. I don't know if that hidden feature was brought along into T3D or not, I haven't come across it yet.

torque.exe -jSave Journal.jrn to record it, then torque.exe -JPlay journal.jrn to play it.
Edit:Ooops, seems like I necro a thread, sorry about that.

You mean journalling? I just tested it last week, it works(T3D).torque.exe -jSave Journal.jrn to record it, then torque.exe -JPlay journal.jrn to play it.

Torque does have a demo recording feature which I think still works. You would be much better off checking that out.
