I think I got the basic concept of how Plastic Tweaker works and I will most likely just create some code to replicate it's functions.

After I posted this I went through every Plastic Tweaker related topic I could find ( I should have done that first) and found the thread discussing the mess about the .cs files.I think I got the basic concept of how Plastic Tweaker works and I will most likely just create some code to replicate it's functions.

thats what most folks did after the limits of the plastic tweaker was reached.

That being said I would like to contradict some misinformation in this topic.
@Michael - I am sorry you feel you got "burned", but I have to contradict you when you say the Tweaker can only handle stock TGE. That is not true. Although we are now giving access to the Tweaker source, you do not need to have it to tweak any game made with TGE no matter what enhancements you add to it. The Tweaker by it's nature is open ended and extendable and it parses all the source files. It works with any global variable, object, or datablock.
@Edward - what limits were reached? I would like to hear the specifics.

I would like to address these topics but first let me lead with this: Plastic Games has decided to release the source code to the Tweaker. We are doing this to make the product easier to support and because many users requested it. Look for an update to the Tweaker with source soon. If anyone would like the source sooner just email me paul@plasticgames.com.That being said I would like to contradict some misinformation in this topic.

Is the update going to add any new features or just to include the source code?

There will be no new features, but there will be new compatibility. Plastic Tweaker does not officially support TGB because of changes in the engine source and some differences in how GUI controls work. This next release will not officially support TGB either, but it does, in fact, work with it. We used TGB and our Tweaker for a recent project with Disney and we resolved some of the issues. The script sources we will release will be the latest ones with that compatibility and we will update the document to include the changes I made on the C++ side for TGB to get the Tweaker to work.
