Can't get TGB to even start?

I purchased TGB last nite to give it a try after looking at the website for some time. I have it installed on my newer imac, 2.4 Mhz core 2 duo running OS 10.4.11. Tried several times going through the installation process. I see the app listed but whenever I try to start running it I just get taken to the garagegames.com website? Which incidentally shows I did purchase the engine.
Tried making sure xcode files were all installed from OS installation disks.
I do question why the app says it is for a "powerpc"?

If you havent figured it out now ^Contact^ them they'll know what to do. What I did was deleted every TGB thing then Downloaded it. Clicked install, Them when it asked me where to put it I put "TGB2" then clicked run on the applacation, asked me for product key entered and it worked.

After several more trys I finally got it to load. I did several thinks and I'm not sure what it was that worked. I followed the advice several times to remove everything I could that referred to Torque. And then I switched browsers from Firefox to Safari.
Finally I got the Mac message about whether I wanted to load a new app.
I still received a grayish page asking for the Product key. When I entered it I received an error message reading "connection error". At that time I noticed that the upper corner of the Mac showed TBG as a running app!
I did have to move some stuff around still since the documentation and stuff didnt seem to be in the folders TBG expected when I was trying out the tutorials, but at least I'm up to working through them.
Thanks again. Still think there should be some kind of intro to things tho.
