a quick tour through the GG site didn't reveal an example of one of the basic T3D demo levels hosted in a webpage. anyone know where i can try that out, as a user ?

@Orion and OmegaDog: That web demo tool is not official. We accidentally leaked it on the site (it still has issues so it wasn't ready for public use), and someone must have grabbed it and hosted it at this URL. We'll have the official version up and running later, but we ask that people do not pass around the old version that was leaked.

Man, the community is really on top with all changes on our website. :)

Thats my url, I got the app from the Torque3D splash page, if I was mean I would be known as the OmegaTroll because I live on GG.com.

@OmegaDog: Absolutely no hard feelings. It was our fault for pushing it live on accident. And our community would be a lot less awesome with the Dog checking everything out. ^_^

@Orion: Not at present, no. We do have plans to put out a web tools demo, though, in the near future. I'll reply on this thread once it's live.

@Steve: I see what you did there.

No, it's just amazing to me how fast people discover things. The link to the web tools demo was only up for an hour or so. And we had people discover within seconds when the Torque 3D 1.0 release version went live.

It's a honor, really. Would be MUCH worse if no one cared about the site. :)

Web tool is in testing now :) Gotta make sure the bugs are ironed out and that it's running properly on multiple browsers. It's coming though!

ya it don't work in every browser i tryed FF it worked fine did not try IE. The one that don't work that i use which is not populor and thats one reson why i use it is maxthon2 and it did not really work at all it worked just allot of the F keys did not work and could not really point the camara any place.

I not daying you have to get that brower to work as not even GG site work all that well with it. I use it to keep hackers away from me wile the econ is still bad as there is allot more hackers now. :P

i would say around 10 times more hackers then there ever has been.

We are looking at supporting IE 7 and 8, Chrome, and Firefox for the initial web tools deployment.

The major selling point for me is the web browser publishing included in the demo which works great on IE7.....Just saying

Any updates on this? The publish to web packager in the tools demo crashes firefox 3.5.5. No clue how to deploy to web. Should we assume that the entire deployment to web feature is still under development?

The tools demo 1.01 works like a gem (both ie 8 and firefox) though! I was testing with my previous 1.00 install when I posted the above. Great job guys, false alarm!
