[Bug 1.0] Can't select anything in the Scene Tree when switching 3rd person to free camera

A strange bug I ran into today. I'm in the world editor and I'm editing the different objects in the scene tree. I go from 3rd person to camera mode (where the camera is free from the player) and then try to select objects in the scene tree but it won't select anything. I switch back into 3rd person and then it lets me select them in the scene tree.

edit: btw this doesn't always happen and I don't know how to reproduce it.
