It sounds like this could be a team project. Any suggestions on how to get this rolling?
I'd imagine some type of svn setup, like:
Main Directory
->Source
->TGE-> starter.mech
->TGEA-> starter.mech
->T3D-> starter.mech

My question is this something people still want to work on? Or an actual game?

It seems like it may have veered off course when Instant Action bought torque. Think a lot of people just forgot about it. I released what i had for torque game engine 1.5.2. I wanted to redesign it for t3d. My question is this something people still want to work on? Or an actual game?

not sure the resources would be an added bonus to those starting down the path of mech based games.
