Constructor Is very Slow

I'm trying to make a small town in constructor... the only problem is that constructor is very slow. I know it's not my computer because my internet browser and msn work fine and aren't slow at all, and when I'm just moving the camera around in constructor, it's also ok... but whenever I select something, constructor freezes for 10-20 second. It's really annoying, and it's slowing my work speed severely. It might have something to do with the number of brushes in my scene, but I don't know. I've tried turning everything that isn't a major part of the structure into detail brushes, I turned all the unseen faces into the null texture, but it still keeps freezing every time I select a brush. I'm currently using version 1.0.6.

I like to make levels for games, and I like to make games that I want to play. For me, game's aren't about having the greatest next gen graphics, it's about having fun, and I make sure all my work shows that. (of course good graphics never hurt :P )

its also can occur after a period of time where you have made alot of changes. The memory kinda fills up. its good to periodically save and reload constructor to clear that memory. and as David said, check the number of brushes and look for the red lines and bad face issues(the fuzzy two layer effect that shows up) these are all possible causes of your issue. I use Constuctor for all my buildings with only a few major issues.. usually related to size and scaling of a face.
