preLight crash upon conversion

still no luck, I get a crash on preLight everytime I try to convert
no errors listed in the log, just going on it's merry way and on the last file it craps out
there are some 3diobj files in the project folder structure, but they seem to be correupted,can't get anyhting into pureLight
following along with the tutorials carefully, but can't get anyhitng to work
I'm gonna try on my Mac tomorrow,

keep in mind, these are just a few cubes, I tried to mimic the scene in your tutorial. If you can tell me what I did wrong that would be great as I can't seem to figure it out

I ran your meshes through the release version of preLIGHT and didn't encounter any problems. How is your scene hierarchy setup? I suspect the problem lies there.

I'll send you the MAX file once I get back from work, nothing special in the hierarchy, it's just a few boxes.
