We have tested and imported meshes from 3D Max, Blender, Maya, and XSI. If you use a different 3D modeling program and have difficulties importing meshes into pureLIGHT we would be happy to help you out.

Internally, we use 3D Max for all of our modelling. The exact 3D modeling program doesn't matter, as long as it can export to either ASE or DAE (collada). The skill of the artist matters a lot more than the program itself, as they can all do more or less the same thing (with differing levels of ease).We have tested and imported meshes from 3D Max, Blender, Maya, and XSI.
