DTS & DIF Exporter Matrices Added to TDN

Just a quick update to point out the move of the Exporter Matrices from my personal site to TDN.
They have been renamed "Exporter Feature Charts" to be more clear about their purpose. Hopefully we will see some links from features on the charts to docs on how to implement those features in the various 3D applications as those docs crop up in TDN. Also, you'll notice that the charts took a bit of a visual hit in the transition. If any Wiki Wizards want to pretty them up, please feel free!
For those of you currently linking to my site for the charts, please redirect your links to these pages, as these will be kept up to date, and mine will not (though I will link to these pages from there.)

Hey, great! Now we can update it on our own.
Alex, two things that I noticed on the DTS/Feature Chart that I don't know what you intended:
1. Under Texture there are two Additive rows. I'm not sure what the difference between the two are, but Blender is 'yes' for one and 'no' for the other.
2. And as Rubes pointed out, under Platforms Supported there are two Mac rows. Again I'm not sure what the difference between the two are, but LightWave is 'yes' under one and 'no' under the other. It should of course be 'yes'. :o) I'd make the change myself, but again I don't know if there was a special meaning behind the two rows.
And finally the Official GG Exporter row have some items with [ a ] beside them, but the footnote key doesn't list what they mean.
Thanks!

Good to see these moved to TDN. I updated stuff for Cartshop/Pipeline, added anchor links for footnotes, fixed the border color issue, and a few other minor fixes.

Added a new row to indicate support for more than 8 collision details in DTS objects -- a new feature for TGE 1.4. I filled in the result for LightWave.- LightWave Dave

I had a thought while looking at it, The items that are supported, as in "IFL" or "LOD" or others that require a little more setup for export, it would be realy handy to have that "Yes" in the respective entry to point to a TDN article on the subject.

Keep up the good work. As I bring people into the fold of Torque, this is one of the first places I send them. A games art pipeline is critical and your information makes the decisions on what to use extremely helpful.

I am looking forward to the release of the XSI exporter? Anyone beta testing it now know how it compares to the others on the list? Keep up the good work. I noticed that AutoBounds is indicated as "yes" for Maya. Is there documentation somewhere on how to use this feature? Thanks

@William: The "create bounding box" button on the dtsUtility dialogue does this.
@Allyn: It is my hope to eventually have most or all of the table entries link to appropriate TDN tutorials, but more problematic/ unintuitive features such as IFL and LOD would be prime candidates.

@Dave & Tom: Thanks for fixing those mistakes! I knew putting this on TDN was a good idea ;)@William: The "create bounding box" button on the dtsUtility dialogue does this.

I don't remember seeing a Blender DIF exporter?

Cameron, there is a blender to map exporter out there, which means that in theory you can go to DIF from there. As with most non CSG-style editors, this isn't necessarily the most elegant/ easy to use route.

I've been trying to track down this blender to map exporter that the matrix refers to. This is the closest reference I can find. There's no way of knowing if this is definitive unless someone can produce the blender exporter...Quoting James Urquhart (Apr 22, 2004 at 09:19) in this thread www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=4662

I need to make a formal resource out of it.

@Stewart -- You can find the blend2map script here: www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=11288I need to make a formal resource out of it.

Edit: referring to the DTS Exporter Matrix, that is.
