It has been an exciting few months here at GarageGames. We appreciate your patience (with our temporary website) while Jeff, Tim and I have been working on this release of GarageGames.com. This has been a learning adventure for all of us. We have directed the creation of several large sites before but never actually built one from the ground up ourselves. I think you will notice a big difference between this site and others we done; GarageGames.com is a web application not just an informational site.
There is a lot of stuff here so take some time and really take a look at what the site has to offer: the marketplace, company, developer & project listings, help wanted ads, integrated forums, a resource database: tracking books, articles, tools, websites, and more with an advanced search engine, member profiles and .plan files, self publishing, games and a lot more.
GarageGames is by the community, for the community. Therefore, we encourage members to add their best technical books, development articles, informative websites, etc to the resource database. With everyone contributing, you will have the most up to date comprehensive, targeted, game development database at your fingertips.
