Plan for Rick Overman

Okay, I am finally back in the saddle after the holiday break. A few quick site changes today.
The first is a change in the behavior of how Mark all as Read behaves. Previously the site used your last login time to determine what posts and resources were new. And Mark all as read simply updated your last login time. This had some undesirable side effects.
Today I added a separate field to track the last read date. This date is unaffected by your last login. You now need to click the Mark all as Read link to update the last read date.
The second change is the What's New? info box. We have been wanting to display recently posted code snippets and forums threads but were running out of room on the right side. So today I consolidated everything into an easy to read side box... What's New? I hope this help you zero in on the information you are looking for. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
