Plan for Melv May

Working, playing, programming!

With the IGC'02 coming up very soon I suddenly find myself in probably one of the busiest periods of my life so far.

I have just survived my stagg-day of water-skiing, body boarding, half-drowning followed by an afternoon in "Smiling Sams" beer, pool and arcade emporium followed by an evening in the busy city of Nottingham, UK, drinking every known spirit/beer know to mankind (hence my profile image change) with a load of mates.

Later this month, as obvious as it is, I'm getting married and taking a honeymoon in wonderful Toronto.

Almost immediately after this we've got a major event at work and smack in the middle of it we've got the IGC'02 !

As you can guess I've got some organising to do if I've got any hope of attending and meeting you nice people (something which I would really like to do).

Of course ... this panic has nothing to do with the fact that the event is being sponsered by a brewery .... heaven no!

Seriously though, I'm not sure how the hell I'm going to do it but I will try my absolute best, afterall I should get to chat with Phil Carlisle for 10+ hours on the plane. (Man he'll wish he purchased a parachute) ;)

Well where is the programming then I hear you say? When my bleary eyes have finally cleared, I've got some cool stuff to crack on with for the community.

Hopefully, see you all there.

Congrats for the wedding, and you should probably have chosen Calgary, instead of Toronto. It's like choosing York over Sheffield but that's just my opinion!

Yeah Mike,

Sarah has family there who won't be able to attend the wedding so we can pay a small visit to them and still have our honeymoon so everyone wins. 8)

We want to do a three-week tour of the states next year so I'm not that bothered where we go, just a break would be nice.

I might add a pitstop at Oregon next year for a day. 8)

Here's a couple very near me. Yeah, Essen Haus isn't really a brew pub, but they carry lot's of microbrew stuff and "boots". So many beers so little $ :(
