Plan for John Quigley

Well I found a new full time job, and start in a week. It will be good to eat again. :) On a whim I trolled through the access logs on my httpd server and found a surprising number of hits on my resume from garage games (about 30 in march and february). My resume must really suck because not many of those turned into employment opportunities. :) But, it does show that advertising for a job on garage games helps to get the word out.
So, what else have I been up to? Aside from breaking people's builds with my platform changes, I've been tying up loose ends on the torque linux port and really pushing to get it to a final state. Hopefully soon we'll have a beta release, and a final shortly after that. I'm looking forward to wrapping it up; since I bought torque 5 months ago I've been mainly wallowing in the linux platform code and have done little with the rest of the engine. I really want to starting playing with it. :)
I'm also doing some DX8 updates to the win32 directinput code. The code that is in the HEAD now works but doesn't directly use DX8. Hopefully those changes will go in sometime next week.
