The Master's Eye - playable demo part deux

A few months ago I announced the release of the playable demo of my game The Master's Eye. Since then it has been downloaded by a number of you and some of you have send me some feedback about the game. The biggest issue seemed to be that it was not able to change to another resolution. At the time of the previous release (you can find the blog about that here) that was due to the fact that I was unable to change the size of the volumetric fog object. But this is all solved now and I am proud to say that you can now play it at any resolution greater or equal to 1024 x 768 (windowed or full screen). As a prove of this see the next image of the video options menu which was taken at a resolution of 1402 x 1122 although it might get a little bit cropped by the post.

Another addition was the DepthOfField post effect in the first mission with its wide views. An example of this is seen in the next image, which also contains the changed Smith-part.

I've also added some more variety to the second mission, which is a mine/cave/dungeon, by adding some interesting textures and more of this stuff. Again, this can be seen in the next image.

I have changed more things, but most of them are under the hood; code optimizations, improved 3D-models and so on.
At last, I have changed the installer, so that it won't ask for restart, which was a little bit of an annoyance.
Finally, I would like to show you an image of the first mission, now in a 16:9 resolution.

Now I am going to concentrate on the start of the crowdfunding campaign to get some cash to bring this epic project to an end (I think it will land around 10 or more missions), and maybe going to try to sell some beta versions (thanks to Mr. Steve Acaster for pointing me in that direction in my previous blog).
You can download the demo here at my site and if you take the effort to do so and play it for a while... feedback is very much appreciated!
Thank you for reading this and I do hope you will spare a moment and download the game.

Give the player at least a stick to fight, this would feel more realistic than having to take out two armored mercenaries with swords with your bare fists.
The second intro that cannot be skipped should be skippable or shorter.
The game starting screen should have an obvious start button, it takes a while until you realize you have to click the needle on the map to start.
Running speed should be a little faster, it can get boring walking around.
And further the game crashed a lot for me, so I could not test the rest.

I still don't get how to play it, shortly after the game started there is two bandits coming for you and they easily kill you since you have no weapons and you have to be very lucky to kill them with your fists.Give the player at least a stick to fight, this would feel more realistic than having to take out two armored mercenaries with swords with your bare fists.

Thanks for the info and looking forward to your mail.
@Duion:
At the start of the game you are equiped with a club which can be found in the inventory. You were unlucky that you get the mercanaries right at the start (although the armoury isn't effecting your hits with these enemies), while you are in the open field you get random encounters varying from rats and spiders to mercenaries. Also the manual (accessable throught the Options menu; <ESC> when you are in the game) contains a section called On your way which will guide you throught the first part of the mission. Also I am very interested in the crashes, so if you are able to tell me more about them please do so.

It crashes shortly after I am in the game, I cannot do much, there is also no information why it crashes.

I can't reproduce these crashes on different computers. Are you able to provide some more information like what you were doing (walking, running ... ) and maybe your configuration? It will be appreciated.

Your Third screen presents a lack of shadows... Edges are too sharp.
Meanwhile, overall looks good.
Small particles effects could adds good looking to your scenes.
For your crowdFunding campaign :
Take care of platform. I choose IndieGoGo, and was really badly satisfied.
Make a facebook page is great, but I did an error with this : Pay facebook to bring likes. It's really unnecessary. Meanwhile Facebook brings really customers, but not with bought likes.
Talk about your project everywhere you can. I will follow your project and share any information I Can.
Good luck with your project... !
Also need to talk with you by mail later.
