MyRPG - Long Time No post.

I used Torque since TGE 1.3, it's been longtime that I have'nt posted. I currently work on MyRPG, a platform inspired by RPGMaker, Wow, NeverWinter, and so on.
I currently teach coding in France, and with a student group, we're currently building a world editor for (MMO)RPGs... This work is based on T3D/AFX.
Since I started with Torque, I collected a great assets library. MyRPG will allow you to use this library with MyRPG client and server.
We are currently coding an editor addon to allow MyRPG interract with mangos databases System.
This editor will include a spell editor GUI for AFX's engine part. It will also include HTC+.

Here are the firsts TimeLaps - Carcee's Island (1 to 3 on ??):

I'll be looking eagerly as to where the project goes. Congrats with sticking with Torque for all of these years, and hopefully for more years to come! c:

now that sounds like a cool project!
Really nice to see some speeded up level design, never occured to me to do that. Looking forward to you posting more. :)

Looks good, have you looked into world machine? It could save you a lot of time on world construction.

@Kevin :
About World Machine : It sounds to be a really good product. HTC+ (Huge Terrain Creator) can create terrains based on fractals (same base fractals that world machine). But it also combine factals using an hexmap like this one :

(Screen From HTC on TSE)
HTC can handle up to 64 different fractals on the same Terrain. It can also handle forests and ground coverage depending on terrain type (mountains, hills, plains, ...) .
HTC was developped with Torque Shader Engine. I'm currently porting it to T3D.
In this timeLaps, I'm using standard tools because I'm starting from a pen and paper RPG module. With standalone fractals, it's more difficult to obtain a good result to draw such maps.
With HTC (included in MyRPG), you can draw maps with old school RPG HexMap editor, and Finally edit it into the editor. Unfortunately, HTC isn't fully ported into MyRPG ATM.
Note, that you will be able to export heightmaps in PNG (RGBA16),jpg or raw. (in more that .ter file format)

Can't wait to see where this project goes; the concept of building it with a student group is really cool!
