Deo for Nintendo Wii U development started

Hello buddies,

It's been a long time since I posted my last blog. You may be already familiar with our game Deo, which was made with T3D. It was released for PC on 31th of May, 2013. Originally Deo was designed to look like a console game. Anyway we decided to release it for PC instead for any console because we didn't have resources and licenses to make it available on the console market.

However, recently we, liman3D, have become a licensed developer for Nintendo Wii U. I am very excited to announce that we are starting to work on an exclusive AAA title for Nintendo Wii U. This new project will be based on our latest game Deo, which means it will be a reworked Deo game with lots of enhancements. We are feeling really inspired to create a lot of new features, enemies and improved level environments. These new improvements will be based on the feedback we got from gamers, who played Deo in the last couple of months, as well as our own ideas and views.



We know we have a long way to go before the Wii U version to be completed. We plan to rework tons of assets and shaders in order to achieve a better look and even plan to create some new shaders especially for the level environments. The project will also require creating the Wii U port of the engine, switching from DirectX to OpenGL, as well as optimizing the source code for best performance on the Wii U console. We will keep you posted about our progress.

This is amazing, your game made with T3D is going on the Nintendo Wii U!! It must be an honor for you guys. This kind of news inspires us and the GG community to never give up on projects!
