Sub - Urban House 01 Pack
------------------------------------
This is an very good looking urban house model, created for the Torque Engine. This house coming with 45 props like furniture, animated doors and a lot more.
Everything in that art and model pack is T3D ready and it can easy be inclouded to your project. One focus to build that house, was to use only 2 large texture for the house and and every other models and probs. only the breake able window and all glass in the pack use 2 little texture extra, and also the particle efects need 2 more little texture. This should the draw calls hold as small as possible.
This pack also coming with an nice playable demo mission, like all Game3d pack's. The pack content one folder with all recource models in four model format (DTS,OBJ,DAE and MS3D) This way you can easy use the model for other engines, if you like to do so.
The house and all props are build with an LOD system, perfect for T3D. But maybe you need to fine adjust that. The pack also incloude a prefap, so you can fast set the building with an prop setting examble to your project.
Here a movie, showing the house in the demo mission:
This pack and and a lot more content packs are available in the Game3D shop Click Here
The Urban House 01 pack cost only $ 35 and you can purchase the pack very fast via paypal in the Game3d shop.
Thanks for reading and happy developing all :)

It looks very realistic, but the missing ambient occlusion keeps it from being fully convincing, but I think it is a Torque specific problem, that it does not generate realistic lighting inside the house, interiors have the same lighting level as the outside.
But I guess you have to build more variations of houses now, since one house alone does not make a scene.

This is one the best stuff I've seen here, must have taken forever to build. That was absolutely beautiful, I especially love the detail (like curtains, the clown painting on the walls, and such) put in the furniture choices for the rooms. I also love the clean feeling of the bathroom. I would want to bathe in that shower! =)

@ Duion : Thanks, im happy you like it. Yea, it is not easy with interior light. Yea, it was a lot of work to make all the props, and always i got more ideas to make more furniture :). But i had to stop at some point, about the pack should not get to be to expensive in cost. I hope i get the time to make urban house02 with more furniture, so when you get all house packs, you also will get a large stock of differs furniture and props. Thats the idea behind this packs.
@ Dynasoul: I'm happy you like it! Thanks. I always was thinking the same, when i was enter the bath room, a shower would be nice there or a hot bath. :)

But I wonder more about the workflow you used to build the house, what tools you use etc. I for example use blender and architecture is a little complicated with that, especially the texturing, since you only have UV-mapping and so you need to project the textures on by eye measurement.

I think you would need more variations of houses, not so much more props, since you can reuse them. 5 more variations of houses, maybe with different skinning options could make a whole little town. But I wonder more about the workflow you used to build the house, what tools you use etc. I for example use blender and architecture is a little complicated with that, especially the texturing, since you only have UV-mapping and so you need to project the textures on by eye measurement.

@ Duion : I work with different tools like blender, uv unwrap and the good old milkshape. There i use and love the DTS exporter and some other things also. milkshape also is nice to set the animation and in some cases i be faster as when i do it in blender. Exsamble: connect the texture in Milkshape to the mesh, export as obj and voila, you have the texture also set in blender and just need to fine adjust there. For buildings this is most of the time faster.
Yea, ofc, some more different buildings are need, but i do think it also needs more props, so the buildings looks not all similar. at least this house pack is more like a mix between a furniture asset plus one building. Some people maybe like the furniture and get a bonus building and otherwise. an other idea could be to split the pack to be twoo pack's likes a house pack, and a furniture pack.
Also i would like to use the same texture for the next pack, about to hold the draw calls low. The texture, have some little space left for more props, and this way all houses and props would use only twoo large texture and not 30 to 60 or more!

You may want to label it as suburban as well since urban implies a city setting.

really really impressive looking work Daniel! You may want to label it as suburban as well since urban implies a city setting.

But I think I will make more such houses, so the name urban will be ok. Urban house 01 02 03 and so on. Thanks to let me know that.

Very nice Daniel! I agree with kcpdad though, it should be called Suburban or you'll miss the people looking for suburban houses. Urban implies inner city here in the US.

This art pack is changed to be a larger pack with 3 houses and 58 props. Read my new blog about the changes.
