New Ice Textures Packs with photos!

The Ice Texture Block kit is my newest pack to help give your ice level that special Ice look and feel. I have an Ice Texture kit of 41 textures which has normal and specular in them as well as the diffuse texture. The price is $59.99 for the entire 41 textures, normals, specs and materials.cs file. You can also get the content for $6.99 a texture group (diffuse, normal and spec, no materials.cs).
The new block kit is shown below and is designed for those who don't have the time or don't know how to add the textures to rocks to make their own. I began working out this issue with this block kit. Here is how it works in a nut shell...
01) You select what group texture pack you want, from the 41 that will be available.
02) You order, and get your link(s) to download the content.
03) Once you get the content, unzip it and drop it into your game/art/shapes folder as the name of the pack (such as t_041 or what ever it is listed as in the included manual).
04) Goto your world editor, load her up and begin dropping rock blocks into your world.
The new block packs will be $14.99 a pack. Each pack will have 4 group sizes of rocks in them with the first being standard size, then about 4 times the size of the player, 10 times the size of the player and finally 20 times the size of the player. There are a total of 40 rocks per pack plus the textures that I used to make up the rock with. You will get the diffuse, normal and specular texture files. The diffuse only comes in DDS, PNG and JPG, the other two are only in PNG formats.
If you would like to buy just the texture group by themselves, that will be available too for just $6.99 a group pack. This price covers my time creating the texture and the formats for your selected pack. You can also buy the entire kit of all 41 textures with the files already done for just $59.99 as well if you prefer. The rocks are not included at this price point, only the textures of diffuse, normal and specular. If you order a pack by May 16th, 2014 I will throw in the materials.cs file for the pack you are ordering. I will send it via email once you order. Just remind me to send it to you if I do not.
So lets review:
- You can get the entire texture kit and make your own rock ice rocks or use them in whatever your doing, just $59.99
- You can buy only the ice texture(s) sets you need for just $6.99
- You can buy the rock pack with the textures in the pack plus the rocks of 4 size types for just $14.99
So whatever pack you buy, you are going to be getting a quality product!
Now check out the screen shots of the first two packs... pack 41 and pack 16. These are in the first test ice level I did when I began building my Ice Caverns Kit. Hope you enjoy!

Now images of the rocks with their texture on them... all 41 of them...

Good job and nice textures as well. I may imagine the amount of time and effort you have been put on all these works.
Below I have listed some suggestions about your product.
1. I could be wrong, but seems to me, there are some rocks textures are not perfectly seamless ( uvw mapping issues ) , and perhaps you might try to fix them, before sell them.
2. Sometimes, if possible, might be useful to inform the amount of polygons of your models, because in general, models of rocks have a high polygon count that may cause a large reduction in frame rates during game play in some computers.
3. Moreover, try to expand your target market and therefore, your target audience for your product, and not concentrate it just on these forums. Fortunately, you can make your 3D models with multiple file formats such as 3ds, Obj, X, Fbx, MS3D, to name a few, which can be used in several game engines out there, not limited only the torque 3D.
4. You might also try to sell your products in TurboSquid.com, Exchange3D.com, The3DStudio.com, etc .. and not only here, thereby increasing the target audience and market.
Unfortunately, make a product is not easy in most cases, but selling it is a million times more difficult, especially, target markets with strong competition and little audience between other factors.
I hope this hints might be useful to you in some manner.

Thanks for the feedback. In answer to your questions:
1: I think your referring to the blue texture rock set... those were designed to look as they are to give the appearance of ice rock with deeper ice formations inside the rock. What you are seeing is not a misdone texture. I've been asked about this several times in email already.
2: I thought about posting about the poly count but as everyone already knows, rocks are a small poly count, unless noted to be higher. If you feel i should post the poly count, then I will begin adding this in but usually it don't make hit or miss to the customer, at least from the sales I've had. Most have already figured it was low poly counts on the rocks, which it is.
3: I have tried the Unity site, Game Studio, C4, here and a few others with little success of sales, so I have stopped all other sites and have focused exclusively on Torque 3D. If anyone wants the files converted to another forat for use in another engine, I'm more then happy to convert the pack for what they need, the audience just has to ask me before buying. I've converted several of my packs for clients already who have ordered.
4: Can't at Turbosquid, they have an exclusive EULA when you sign up on their site you have to make the content exclusive to them only and I am not doing that. I have some other content that is not out other then on TS, but I don't make it a habit of using TS for my rock packs due to this agreement. Will have to look into the other two. I don't know of them but will check them out, thank you for posting them.
5: No its not easy to make a product. I spend anywhere from a weekend to several months creating my content. Honestly, I don't have any competition since my packs are unique enough to stand on their own. I feel there is enough room in this market and even with this engine, to allow everyone to get a piece of the market pie. I don't feel threatened to have others post products next to mine. I never have. I feel if people want my product, they will buy it. I give them content that I enjoy doing, I don't do it because there is a need for it. If I tried to make content for everyone, I never would have my own unique flair, I would be building content for clients to their needs.
If I build stuff, content and models to what I enjoy doing, and people like my work and feel they have a need for the content I made in their own game or project, then I can still be happy in that I did it to help someone as well as get a sale from doing what I enjoyed making. Also, it is not always about the money I make from these packs, I do it honestly, because I enjoy the content I make and am happy with what I am doing.
I make a nice cash base off the packs yes, I have a few hundred happy customers thus far, yes. Do I think I can make a living doing these content? No. I don't plan on that. I have many projects going and this isn't my most money making job to date. I work on 3d models for haunted attractions on the side of doing this, plus consulting services with custom audio, art, textures and models and sound services. so as you can see, selling my content to gamers isn't my only venture. I have a lot of projects for which I'm proud of that are helping pay my bills and keep me going to do what I enjoy doing.
Thank you for posting. Sorry you thought the texture isn't seamless, it is/ The content I designed is to have a certain look for the project(s) I do. That is the way it was here too. I hope this explains some things about my work. Again, thank you for the feedback, it is always nice to hear from people like yourself. Talk soon.
Will.

First of all, thank you for taking the time to answer my previous post and to clarify some points regarding the texturing of the rocks, which, in reality, if I understood correctly, it is a particular feature of the 3D models you have made for the pack shown in this thread. Sorry for the misinterpretation.
Furthermore, I did not know that TurboSquid is requiring exclusivity to sell the products on their website, anyway, it was just a suggestion.
I am glad to know you are happy with the results your products are bringing back to you, and also I may see how much you like and enjoy creating your 3D models. This is very good and rewarding for any professional.
All the best,
