Ice Caverns Kit - Last week for the EA release!

Hello one and all,

This is the last few days to get in on my EA Ice Caverns Kit Volume 1 for the low price of just $24.99. As of May 1st, the price moves to $34.99. Right now, the final version of the pack looks like this...This pack contains all the following:

- 5 tree types
- 2 ambient sounds in MP3 format (1 wind and 1 music)

Ice Caves main kit:

* 50 Small Cavern Segments
* 15 Large Cavern Segments
* 15 Cave Formations you can use to build your own stalactites and stalagmites from segments you piece together
- Includes 2 levels of lod and DAE formats for the cave segments and trees so you can just drop into torque and begin editing your level up.
- And all cave segments and formations contain Specular highlights to give the extra ice glow which was recommended by Ronald Kapaun, a great guy and awesome artist in his own right. Thanks Ron for recommending the highlights, they have greatly improved the pack.

So how many pieces of content are in this pack? 87 total pieces are in this kit to use to build your own Ice Cavern world, use them all or pieces from the kit. By far, the best pack I have ever put out thus far with 98 Megs worth of content in 3 password protected ZIP files.

Here are some of the screen shots from the new "Ice Base 10" kit that will be released as a add-on kit for just $9.99 a copy and also includes a new Ice Rock pack of 20 new rock types to place as detail to your levels. You need the main kit to make the addon work as you are paying for a completed ice structure that helps jump start your game level. Just as a side note to the below photos... not all the rocks in the pack was used to produced what you see below. There is only 4 cave segments used and readjusted to form what you see below in the photos. I was averaging between 32 and 45 fps on a laptop with no Nvidia GPU (I have a 5600 ATI series GPU in my laptop) and with AI running around the level and having an average of 8-12 AI units in the level shooting at me. It wasn't laggy at all on my system. The new add-on kit is now available in the order page listed below to order the main kit... Enjoy the photos...








This gives you an idea of size of the caves you can build in this pack. You can build vast maps of various ice cave types and if your pressed for time, order one of my pre-done map structures with an ice cave already built for you, so you just drop it into your engine, load it up and begin adding AI.

































And here are various shots from test structures I have built since the creation of this kit to test frame rates, and other features to make sure the caves can bring strong frame rates. These are tests that moved me to build what you see in the above shots.
