Forester Pro and Flowers

We are right now working on a new release of Forester Pro which will have major new features to enable random generation of flowering plants. Up until now Forester can make trees, shrubs and grasses, but could only generate flower models as clusters of billboards. The problem with flowering plants is they have a higher degree of order than trees, flowers have certain orientations and locations, leaves often have certain spawning symmetries relative to each other. These new features also enable modeling of plants like mushrooms, some prehistoric plants and more possibilities with alien plants. This has involved an extensive rewrite. An example is shown below:
We think with all the new features we've add to Forester Pro in the last 25 releases it's value has increased significantly so from the next release the price will increase to $30. We think this is still very reasonable. For our existing customers....we'll you guys are lucky...upgrades are free. If you've been thinking about buying Forester Pro...then do it before the next release next weekend.

Matt, way to go. When will we see this new release? Or a rough time frame? Also, will version 20 and beyond be free as well or will there be a charge? Its well worth $30 easy. Keep up the super work man. My terrain clients love the stuff I make with this and Medusa Pro! Talk soon!

I expect to launch next weekend. Currently testing.
All upgrades are free, we aren't planning to ever charge existing customers for upgrades to the software.

We'll it is Saturday....and we are getting there. We now have tested the code, written the documentation and are currently revamping three of our plant packs, including Free Grass Pack 1. We expect to launch tomorrow sometime, so you guys still have time to pick up Forester Pro at the old price.
