Survival Strike - Missile Launches for 0.50 pre alpha

Over the past few years I've worked on various incarnations of the missile launches, originally derived from a TGEA version involving engine changes, but since moving over to Torque 3D I've used AFX to implement this version which visually looks not bad at all. There is plenty of room for improvement later, but for now its a pre-alpha version so I'm not going to spend too much time on it, at least for now.


Worth upping the quality to HD


Currently its a free for all tactical weapon where it will locate a random person in the game and target them.

Things I'd like to add;

Remove seek and destroy, allow the player to target a location instead of a player.
Smoke Trail / Ground based damage, or rubble.
Different war-heads with payloads (Missile, Nuke) / (Damage, Radiation).
Small Early Warning System to allow time for defenses.

Moving on to fixing a few bugs and making sure that supplies work in the game to boost the players food and water levels. Until the next video/blog..

Cool stuff :). Also, I got distracted for a while looking at videos of other missile launches YouTube suggested for me :P.

Thanks.. ah yes, I did take a look as some Russian Silo launches too! :)
