You can read about frontend (what is this game and what is it about) of our project on our site: lifeisfeudal.com
As about backend, it is really a long story, that can be described as: a lot of work with that engine :)
Currently we have a failing indiegogo.com campaign and we are like 3-4 months away from public alpha tests. We are alive and still kicking, biting and scratching on our way to make that game.
Feel free to ask about anything.

P.S. (wave) to Fyodor aka "bank" :)

Looks Fantastic, what version of Torque are you using?

Our own i'd say :) We were developing that game for 3 years now and the latest Torque version we had merged in was Release 1.1 version.

Looks very professional, nice to see things like this made with Torque3D.
Too bad that your campaign is failing, but I think you can make it anyway.

Very nice video! I really like the play on the hammer and sickle with the sword and sickle. Very inventive! This is definitely a game to watch! Wow! Keep us apprised of your progress!

Wow, that's very impressive! The terrains need a little work but the gameplay looks fascinating.

Well, currently our only option so far is to tighten our belts and rush towards stable alpha, so we will have moral rights to sell some early access, minor vanity items and lands in our game to get at least some funding.

This looks fantastic Vlad! Thanks for sharing this with us.

I disagree. The terrains look good to me, but I do think there needs to be more props in the environment. I've long since decided that you can make a bloody good looking environment with no terrain at all, and props are the key. Having said that, I'd place more and more emphasis on the terrain object the further out the camera goes. For an mmo (or any other 1st/3rd person game) I don't think terrain has that much of an impact.

You miss one point. there can be NO props placed artificially by us. Every cell of our terrain can be shaped (raised, lowered, digged) and every cell can be used for free building.
So we can't use standard Level design approaches, when some props are placed manually. Everything is generated and can be shaped at any time and those props will be either floating in the air or just will block those shaping activities.
So we had just poured some sand into our Sandbox and will let players to shape it in all ways they wish, and place their own props in their villages and cities.

Looks great Vlad! Is that concept art on your IndieGoGo page under What is the Game or actual screen shots?

Concept art of course! :) You expect too much from Torque and from us, if you ever thought that theses concepts can be screenshots :)

One can always hope! Nice work either way.
