Pacifica Update: DEM BIG Lands (music video)

This has been way too long, but I was compelled to have a rock-solid base. Thus the DEM inclusion concept was born. The lighting had to become much better, the clarity needed improvenment, and an infinitely extensible folder structure (at least in the context of the art packs). This is now complete. I have a base and, imho, a fairly realistic Pacific Northwest map. There are two rivers, the Pacific ocean -of the correct colors; the hugest task for me is in getting the very far away shots that seamlessly blend into the up-close-and-personal shots the show individual fir needles. This is a kit you can actually look at and examine closely. I've placed a great deal of subltlties in the materials to help offset the geometric complexity inherent in a forested environment. As a side note, I'm up to around 50 or so models right now, but I need just a few more "things of interest:" forest service signs for one.

I have to cut this short due to working today, but I also need to completely explain exactly how large all the BILDERS will become. I'll post it tonight or tomorrow if I'm brain dead when I get back tonight. Here's a quick look at some of the projected Bilders:

Bilder: Enviros
Bilder: Architect
Bilder: Advanced Cave Systems
Bilder: Crypts & Tombs (may go into Architect)
Bilder: Gaia (terrains)
Bilder: The Other Worlds (as the name implies)
Bilder: AA/RPG

All are to work in harmony with each other: Bilder will become a complete, many-worlds builderwhen all of the kits are incorporated as one. This is a rather large vision. Here's the video and bear with me, as this is the first attempt to sync audio and video together.

Thanks for reading, I hope you like it.

Nice video. At first I was waiting for a guard to come out and say, "You should have paid the fine!"

Somehow the water from others always seems to look better than mine, is there a special trick?

@Duion,
No special trick. What you need is patience, perseverance and the interjection of sharp invective at the most opportune times ;)

try dinking with negative numbers in the waves and ripples values -including direction, and don't be afraid to use values like 1.417 -.7249 on the directions either (those are arbitrary but who knows, might do something interesting).
I'll share what I've learned so far in another post. One thing is this: it is NOT intuitive to this right-brainer.
JR.
