Forester Pro - Conifer Tree Pack 2 Released

by Matthew Genge · 03/26/2013 (8:38 am) · 3 comments

Forester Pro is a 3D tree model creator that can export collada models for Torque3D that import seamlessly into the world editor. Forester Pro models include LODs, collision meshes and generate imposters and are compatible with Torque3D's forest objects.

We've just released our sixth pack of tree templates, Conifer Tree Pack 2. Each template provides textures and tree structures that can be used in Forester Pro to generate randomized tree models giving you a huge amount of diversity. You can change the properties of branches and leaves to create a wide range of trees from each template and manually pose leaves and branches in realtime.

Conifer Tree Pack 2 includes templates for the following trees:

In total there are now 45 different tree species that can be made with Forester Pro, and you can also import your own textures to generate completely original trees.

Tree packs are $10 each and require the registered version of Forester Pro.

You can download Forester Pro and Tree Packs from our website. A free version of Forester is available that can make randomized versions of seven tree templates.

@Matthew Genge
I just recentlly purchased Forester pro
and 1st of all great job on it - really enjoy toying with it

a question or maybe more of a feature request?
is/ are there plans to include a sample fern/ bush model in Forester Pro
(i do know that there are additional treepacks/ but buying those only becuase of a fern template is no option)

or is there a way to remove the trunk of a tree? so that way one could create a fern/bush

and if, would u mind showing/ creating a video of howto
thx for your time
