The holidays are upon us here in Las Vegas! So much so that Santas were running through the streets!

New Store
There’s a new store in town! Well, at least a facelift to the existing store. One of the key problems with the original design was that it did not scale well for a large number of products. The new design should help with this, but it is just the first step in the right direction. We have some much larger changes coming down the pipe that will help more with product discoverance, promotions, and more.

There are a number of small things that we have done such as tagging the products by engine to allow people to know which products fit which engine. We will also be removing some products from the store that have not been updated to Torque 3D 1.2 very soon.

Also, if you are a content developer, we have recently revamped our vendor agreements to make it much easier and more clear. As is common in most of the industry with the rise of the app stores, we are switching to a straight 70/30 commission. There are not levels for exclusivity or different royalty tiers any longer. They were leading to questions and confusion, with very little benefit to either us or the third-party developers. It was much easier to simplify the agreement. This will go into effect for all new store contracts.

If you have a product that you would like to publish with us, do not hesitate to contact me!

Please take a look and chime in with your thoughts on the Site Feedback forum.

Modern Warehouse Art Pack
We are also releasing a modern warehouse pack with over 50 different models to create modular warehouse environments. In the picture above, you can see a small level that I pieced together from some of the assets. All of the models included are in COLLADA format, so you can load them into your favorite modeling program!

And the best part? The price. For $9.99, you get a modular package so that you can add warehouses of any size to your game. A package of this quality is unheard of at this price, but we wanted to open it up to as many developers as possible!

Here is an overhead picture of all of the models that are included:

Wow just did some browsing of the art packs. Been a while. There is some great stuff on there. Looks like a lot of art purchasing for me in 2013.
