Oh, I definitely need to check this out. I'd also like to give you a virtual high-five for being willing to duplicate your content for Blender... that's an attitude I've never seen before among users of other 3D packages! Also, that plant looks fantastic.

That's funny. I was recording my own video today for work and realized that living near an airport can be counter productive when it comes to video making... Thank you!

very cool stuff Ron. Very Informative for those that do not use 3dsMax. I use Lightwave 3d normally. But have wanted to get more in tough with Max since i do have it. Thanks a ton, and will be looking back at the tuts as more are available and probably often.

Nice job Ron. It's great to see people taking time to produce things like this. I know how much time we spend here at WinterLeaf working on stuff, making time very valuable so hats off to you for taking the time to share things like this.

Nice job here though!

Hope you're using Blender 2.64... They keep changing the interface, but the latest one seems a lot more straight forward than the previous iterations. I have like 4 books on blender's old versions and after doing their tutorials I was still left with a headache and still only use it as a last resort. I just wish Sketchup didn't have the weird holes in the geometry bug that seems to spring up. Takes me like no time at all to make an object that I need, but then I take the next two days constructing and deconstructing the object to try and make it solid after exporting, but I digress.

Yes, I will use Blender 2.64 because the collada exporter has had quite a lot of work done to it. From what I gathered from the forums and such, the interface will stay steady for a bit. Incredible system that Blender, just not exactly 'intuitive'.
The first script is final. I just need to find time to record the thing and edit it. The last one took about 8 total hours from start to finish. More to follow on the tuts.
