Slime City gets its first defender

Slime City is our newest game (made with Torque 3D). As the player, you must build a bustling metropolis while fighting off a voracious slime. As you add different types and combinations of buildings to your city, you will unlock defensive units that can be used to fight off the slime.
The Thumper is one of the pieces of your anti-slime arsenal. It activates when slime is near, pounding the ground to create a slime-free area for building. Use one unit when you want to establish a beach head or multiple units to create an impenetrable wall.
The slime here is a collection of tiny .IFLs working together to create an organic liquid front. Soon we'll be adding pustules that grow out of the slime to offer additional challenges.
We just put up a Facebook page!

@Michael Hall I didn't know it was stripped out. We added a collada art pipeline to our version of Torque, and the slime will actually be a sprite sheet with an .ifl controller.

@DFasel Thanks, we've been wanting to do a game like this for years. Ever since we saw 'Bit Shifter' at the Indie Games Conference like 7 or 8 years ago.@Michael Hall I didn't know it was stripped out. I actually thought it was a shader at first.

@Lukas Thanks! The sprites are arranged and executed procedurally, but the individual tile animations were created by hand.
