Welcome fellow Indie Games Creators,

www.hirepin.com/images/HirePin.pngHirePin.com is an online marketplace for micro-jobs, specifically for game developers. There's no fee to join and no annoying banner ads. Just people interested in being part of the game development process. And now HirePin.com is sponsoring a micro-jobs competition. All you need to do to enter is to post a small game development-related job that you are willing to do for $25 or less. Your job can be anything game development related. It shouldn't be a big job, ideally it should be something that you can do within a couple of hours. You each have valuable skills as artists, programmers, designers, and business experts. Here's an easy way to earn some extra cash from those skills.

www.hirepin.com/images/HirePin.pngThe best micro-job posted and approved on HirePin.com will be judged based on creativity of the job and quality of the job post. You may post as many micro-jobs as you like within the contest period. This contest is open to all game developers worldwide. To qualify, your micro-jobs must be posted beginning from the date and time of this blog post and no later than Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 11:59pm PST. The winner will be announced the next day, Monday, August 20, 2012 and will receive a cash award of $100.00 US via PayPal. If there are any questions about the contest or rules, please email me at jkanalakis@hirepin.com.

Good Luck,

John K.

Nice. I may just enter this!

For anyone who doesn't already know about HirePin, I've already had several jobs done to satisfaction. The entire process is pretty straight forward and makes getting those niggling little jobs that are so easy to put off done cheaply and quickly. Honestly I can't imagine why this wasn't thought up sooner.

Good luck to anyone entering this comp. And thanks John.

p.s. I vote that John can't enter his own competitions. :D

Thank you, Lukas and Dan. I promise not to enter. ;) HirePin.com has been holding up well with a steady flow of traffic. Not surprisingly, the lower cost jobs are doing much better than the larger expensive ones. Thank you all for stopping by and registering.
