Game Alchemy Pack #1.2 Upgrade

Hello everyone, Well, usually i show the news on T3D but today it will be on T2D ;)
Note : i have used the gradient system of the GAP for design the new UI in the level editor.


Features

Bug Fix


  1. The values ; progress and ms ; for the system of animations of Gui, were unable to taking account of the decimal value - bad profile- very important for progress between 0.0f and 1.0f(FIXED)
  2. Name of the easing selected, in the don't appears - Easing Tab of the parameters editor-(FIXED)
  3. The curve of the ease was not correctly drawed and its custom labels was not displayed - guiEaseViewAdvancedCtrl -(FIXED)
  4. ratioY for the position was filled with ratioX - Gui Animation -(FIXED)
  5. the type of ease OutInBounce is not in the list - Gui Animation -(FIXED)
  6. Multiple pathed objects are correctly handled on the same path, each with its own finished states. -(FIXED)

Enhancement and optimizations


  1. The pathed objects may have its own rotation independantly of the nodes, some variations of their velocity and some variations of trajectory, during the travel.
  2. The pathed object may now to be view in the level editor and in action during the travel whatever the type of the interpolation (catmull, bezier, linear)
  3. TheguiEaseViewAdvancedCtrl calls an ease allocation only if necessary/requested and not to each render. Also, it calls the callback onSetEaseCurve only if necessary/requested.
  4. Signals, Slots and Properties from Qt can be used for every scene object.

New features

Instant Animation System :
A new system of animations for the major part of scenes object.
It allow to animate quickly traps, mounted turrets/weapons/items, doors, peak drop/down/up, platforms, color, alpha etc...
Animations Sequencer :
In development, more powerful and more flexible than the instant animations, moreover it provides the persistence of data, include in the next release GAP#1.3.

But the instant animations are enough for lot of things.

2 new tabs in the level editor and the 9 instant groups available

Where are the groups Camera and Effect of particles?
Some enhancements and new features will be include in the next version of the GAP for these objects. Keep in mind that you can mount a camera on a scene object so if you animate the scene object you can already animate the camera with the ease curves ;), it's the same principle for Particle effect.

New check box in the edit tab of the level editor, for the mixing of instant animations

Plan for the next 15 days

-Completing the sequencer of animations.
-Finish the version of the GAP 1.2 for T3D 1.1 , T3D 1.2.
-Plan the version of the GAP 1.3

Reminder on the GAP

In the order of the conception/production.
1-Generalization of the animation system for gui with easing equation to every T2D-Sprites/T3D-Mesh scene object.( for get a procedural animation system, it can be very useful and interesting for lot of games.)

About of the Store

Well, it should be open at the end of today, so if you buy the pack GuiKit or GameAlchemy, the system in place is the following, after confirmation of paid, you will receive by email, an access to a secure folder, you should download.

I will post here when the store will be open at the end of today. It may be this night.
I not forget the testers, they will have the pack for free of course, contact me. ;)

Looks like you're going above and beyond supporting both T2D and T3D with the GAP. What I've seen of the 3D side of things is impressive :)
