On July 7th and July 8th, Cerulean Games will be holding a 48 hour fundraiser drive to help in Colorado wildfire efforts in the form of a game jam!

During this time, groups of developers will produce entire video games from scratch. We will be taking donations, we will be auctioning off great video games and game memorabilia, and - best off - EVERYONE is welcome to join us! The theme of the game jam - fire fighting.

Come make a game as a team, come make a game as a company, or come make a game by yourself. Fly out to Colorado and join us in person, or do it from home or your office!

Even if you aren't a developer - if you're an artist, we'll find you a team to make art for. If you do music, we'll find you a team to do music for! If you're a community manager or do web sites, heck, we can use you too to help manage the site, auctions and keeping people coming to donate! If you run or work for a major game company - see if you can get us some copies of games to auction off, maybe some signed concept work, or anything fun and unique that could be auctioned to earn money for the relief efforts in Colorado.

This is a very worthy cause and I will be participating. I haven't picked what technology I'm going to use yet, but I'll definitely be making something 2D. I'll have to broadcast a Ustream from my home, since I can't make it to the on-site location.

Really hope this goes well Dave.

I'll try to do something for this. It's a great cause, and I'd love to submit something.

I am curious how the game jam went. I was unfortunately not able to participate but I did donate.
