Honing My Concept Art Skills

Over the past couple of weeks I have been striving to improve my 2d concept art and digital painting skills. I thought I would share a couple of pieces. The creatures were fairly easy by comparison to the human. I could make the creatures any way I wanted, the human took a couple of days because it had to look recognizably... Human!

Thanks Daniel! It's my flightless griffin. But you are correct in that my reference material for it included eagles and greyhounds (and a few other beasts).

Hey, Stick Soldier 1 & 2 seemed to do quite well with just stick figures!
