The Age of Decadence - Public Beta & Pre-Orders

First of all, a little introduction for those who are unfamiliar with this project at all:

"The Age of Decadence is an isometric, turn-based, single-player 3D role-playing game set in a low magic, post-apocalyptic fantasy world, inspired by the fall of the Roman Empire. The game features a detailed skill-based character system, non-linear gameplay, multiple skill-based ways to handle quests, choices & consequences, and extensive dialogue trees."

What is more important for this post's audience, it's a Torque3D-powered game. And before that, it was running on TGE. Both engines were significantly modified during all those years, implementing new GUI controls, game objects and being generally fine-tuned for pseudo-isomeric RPG view. So I suggest you to download the Beta and see our achievements for yourself. Here is the link to a download thread:

If you're curious what the game was like when powered by TGE, feel free to download an older combat demo and breathe the air of the past:

And, finally, if you really like what we're doing - you may even want to help us out by pre-ordering:

Pre-order AoD (and add your character to the gameworld)

P.S.: This nicely made fan trailer might entertain you as well - but WARNING: be prepared for some strong language and violence (which are present in the game as well) and metal music (which isn't, unfortunately :) ).
