DRIVE:Advanced Vehicles Kit for Torque3D version 1.2

DRIVE:AVK replaces all the stock Torque vehicles with more realistic and advanced vehicles.

It also adds some new vehicle classes and types (helicopters, boats, motorcycles, legged vehicles).

for each type of vehicle there are default stock physics and bullet physics options (PhysX versions will be released in a later version release. there will NEVER be a charge for updates).

both types can be used in the same level at the same time, and they interact with each other.

wheeled Vehicles and motorcycles:
1; mouse freeLook and keyboard steering.
2; tire track decals.
3; levels of damage and destruction.
4; driver model and animations (steering, gear-shifting).
5; gearboxes, manual or automatic.
5; full working dashboards(speedometers, rev-counters, selected gear).
6; rear view mirrors.

flying Vehicles and helicopters:
1; full keyboard steering.
2; taxiing (landing and taking off).
3; pilot model and animations (canopy open/close, landing-gear up/down, ailerons, elevators, rudder, pilot joystick steering, propellors).
4; ejection seats.
5; full working heads up displays(hud's) on the models(pitch ladder, artificial horizon).

boats:
1; animated controls(steering, propellors).

legged Vehicles:
1; fully animated animals and characters (drivers).

15 new vehicle models:

1; 6 wheeledVehicle models (monster truck, Chrysler 300, "Deuce" 6 wheeled military truck, Willy's Jeep, Opel Sportster, topFeul dragster).

2; 1 motorcycle model (Ducati 996).

3; 1 flying Vehicle model (F16).

4; 1 boat model (rubber duck inflatable).

5; 1 helicopter model (huey).

6; 3 legged vehicle models (ox cart, sedan chair, chariot).

7; 1 hoverCraft model

1; AI for the wheeled vehicles (ideal for a racing game).

2; player AI that can mount and drive wheeled vehicles.

3; 3 new player models (sports car driver, military driver, pilot)

4; 2 new playable levels.

5; player ragdoll/puppet system, the player goes ragdoll and recovers, when injured, or thrown from an open vehicle. this is built into the player class.

6; AI DecalRoad system, uses the Decaload as a path for AI Vehicles.

7; a basic racing game start up, countDown timer, lap counter.

MULTIPLAYER:
1; This version has multiPlayer functionality for all rigid vehicle classes.
2; This version has BASIC multiPlayer functionality for Physics flyingVehicles, hoverCraft, helicopters and boats. multiPlayer physics wheeledVehicles will be added in the next version release.

How easy to add some custom vehicles model that respect the class provided?As legged vehicle by example?

Looks nice. Will this kit interfere with UAISK and AFX 2.0? My template has those kits merged to it.

its fairly easy, I'll be adding a "sourceArt" package soon(3dsMax, ms3d, COLLADA and FBX) that you can use as a base to your vehicles.
There will also be a short video showing how to change the vehicle models

@Robert Welch,
It works well with UAISK,
AFX 2.0?, cant answer that, I dont have AFX 2.0 ;)

to all current DRIVE owners, you will need to create a login account with the same username and eMail address you used to purchase. Busy uploading a seperate updated version for you all that will be added to your account.

Already purchased the kit, how do I get the 1.2 upgrade ?

Did not read all the posts - still have a problem:

I have registered again using the same email and password but its telling me that I have not placed any orders.

@Deepscratch and Robert: I will purchase the kit and test with AFX 2.0 for you all. I have a project that uses AFX 2.0 and UAISK ... will let you know.

Kit purchase will have to wait until pay day unfortunately. 8-{

to all existing customers,
I had some bandwidth issues at the store,
I moved the files to a different server,
you can now go to "downloads" in your store account and get the zip file. it has the download url and unzipping password.

as a BTW,
jonajoint, the man responsible for the AI DecalRoad, has set up a master server for DRIVE, for us to race about in multiplayer mode (its really fun),
I'll anounce here when the server is fully ready.

HELP, Im getting the following Compressed (zipped) Folders Error:
Windows cannot complete the extraction.
The Destination file could not be created.
Extracted file is empty.

the one you recieved from the store?
or the one from the listed url?
