This is nice and all, but you're too late to get me on this train seeing that I already went through the fun process of writing my own auto-patcher :PGood luck with it though, I'm sure many will find use for it!

Server side can be anything that can handle text files and of course the files that need to be updated. Must be http server (Macs should not be a problem, we can setup a 7 day full version demo for you to test.)
@Robert
Yeah, I am not sure which was worse the tutorial or the code, probably the code :D and thanks for the luck :)

The patch then only includes the bits that are different so you dont have to download the whole file.
Do you have something like that? Is your system flexible enough to plug in a different tool if we have a license to one of those other tools?
The one thing those other tools are missing is a nice configurable front end like yours. But trying to determing if your an end-to-end usable solution or if it needs one of those other things to get it
more optimized.
Needless to say its still cool either way :)

What are you using to create the diffs? For example there are tools like rtpatch, xdelta, apatch etc that create patches and apply them.The patch then only includes the bits that are different so you dont have to download the whole file.

As of right now it is manual. We are 5 minor versions from where it will detect differences and do everything automatically.

Sorry, that does not include source code. We are how ever weighing that option yet it would be a bit more on the expensive side. We have added a lot of new features to the patcher of which will be released in the next couple weeks.

May I ask if any particular server is required for client delivery (as opposed to patch construction)?
Although the game binary only runs on PCs at the moment, my supporting infrastructure is made up of Macs handling database, logic and web chores.
