GMK and Guide Bot for T3D 1.2 soon (hopefully)

Hi guys!

I haven't been here for a while.
I miss you all and I miss good old hardcore 3D C++ programming as well.
I've got a lot of unanswered emails from the community so I decided to write blog.

As some of you may already know I'm running a start-up. Our main effort currently is HTML5 game engine. Starting something new is an extraordinary experience. I pretty much enjoy it, but it's not that fun after all. Mostly because it's full-time effort. And by "full-time" I really do mean full time. Literally. And arguably it can't be other way. We reached the bottom of "Death Valley" and have to go through. Probably I will write more on what it's like to pitch your idea and vision to the world.

It didn't work with Guide Bot almost two years ago and after temporary closure of GG I have to start again with different ideas.
But I owe GarageGames' community much for all that support I received. I really do.

I happy to announce that honorable member of community Deepscratch agreed to help with porting of GMK and Guide Bot to the newer version of T3D. Actually his doing all the job. And hopefully having such an experienced guru as an ally Guide Bot and GMK development will continue and updated versions for T3D 1.2 will be here soon.

You can follow me on Twitter and Google Plus for the updates.

P.S.
Blog without images looks really sad.
There's no new art for GMK and Guide Bot :(
But I'm doing this with HTML5 and Java Script :)

Noticed on your twitter feed you are writing a native renderer for android. Does your engine basically use a native app with an embedded engine for the HTML5 and javascript?

@Yuri,

It's really nice to see you here again. As a GuideBot user, I'm looking forward to the update. In addition to that, do you remember about facial animation? You said you are going to add facial animation feature to the GuideBot and we're going to get updated for free for this feature. I'm wondering if you still have plan for that.

Edit. Facial animation is not proper word. It was Lip Sync that you had mentioned.

How i can see progress of this stuff?
When i see static pages 111 time at me begins depression
And it seems to me that the project has died )))
It is the perspective project
Without it my determination to buy a Turk aspires to zero :)

It's a relatively small feature, and if full scale development of Guide Bot will resume in 2012 (there's chance for this) lip sync will be one of the first features to be released.
