Stop on by and say hello to newest Journal Land residents ShabbaStoney and Lunarjax!
Journal Land Pick of the Week
Journal of Richard Geslot - Journal articles! Remember these? Yea, there are still a few deadbeats out there ;) Here, Richard Geslot presents a short article entitled "Very soft pathfinding algorithm" outlining the method he's using in his game Theolith. It has some specific application, but he explains this as well.
Project Updates
* Blue stain - alfith has a nice wall decoration to hang somewhere in his game. Easter egg!
* Beals Software's Development Journal - what do you like in a UI system? Programmer16 has started thinking about his and has a few nuggets of thought he would like some feedback on
Game Dev Stuffs
* Journal of dx elliot - dx elliot coded up a simple Flash physics demo using AS3 and Box2DFlash he's made available for download. Also good luck with his game submitted to the AppStore!
* Promit's Ventspace - after his review of Mercurial, Promit writes up his evaluation of Git. Short review: Quirky, but a promising winner.
* phyletic gradualism - in case you missed it last week, sprite_hound is still working on his Code Fu with "kata" exercises meant to strengthen your coding skills.
Other Stuffs
* Any Colour You Like - so now benryves has gone and made a primitive 3D engine for the TI-83+. This makes me mad. Incensed, even. Can you imagine how much cooler math class is now? Where was this 12 years ago?? All I could do was write words in my calculator upside down :( No really. I spent an entire period figuring out all the words you can type with a calculator. As you can guess, I'm not very good at math.
Thanks for stopping by Jason Z, O-san, InfectiousGames (and good luck!), Aardvajk

Hi Jesse! Thanks for the link, but I'm just syndicating these posts from GameDev.net since I work there and my friends at Torque are awesome for letting me put them up here too. I wouldn't be able to include anything from dream.in.code
