The Code Zone Bargain Basement Blog - here's something that's definitely different - johnhattan shares some tips on localization based on his experience translation pretty much all his games to Chinese. Y'know. For sale in China. Localization is a pain in the butt for experienced people, so if you're planning on doing it (for any language) then study up!
Project Updates
* Journal of Aardvajk - Aardvajk has video of some new gameplay mechanics at work in Squishy as well as a new non-technical blog (like a developer diary) over at blogspot
* OddGames development journal - O-san solved a memory leak problem in his editor. Memory leak solutions aren't usually widely applicable since they depend so much on the program architecture, but if you like to read other people's experiences just in case it might save you some trouble down the road, well... here.
* Digitanks Development Journal - BSVino goes in-depth behind the design and construction of Digitank's CPU structure
* Journal of InfectiousGames - InfectiousGames finally has some spare time to sit and start fleshing out the details for his new project
Other Stuffs
* Blue stain - alfith points to an indie Blender-animated film called Sintel. Check it out, it's 15 minutes long and pretty damn awesome. Warning: don't look at the comments. Some idiots have loaded them with spoilers that will seriously ruin the great twist ending.
