TDN - TGB Tutorial - Boxy: A Pacman Clone

by Gavin · 08/05/2010 (3:42 pm) · 6 comments

Just a quick update to inform all that I have released the TGB source code for "Boxy - A Pacman Clone Tutorial" on TDN. You will also find a link to the entire source code (its actually an earlier draft version that I am sharing) as well as the artwork I created for educational purposes.

You can read more about Boxy in my previous blog and also enjoy the videos of Boxy loaded on Youtube.

Thanks.

@Gavin - You are becoming one of my favorite community members =)

Love all the voluntary work you are putting into TGB docs. If you don't mind, I'd like to start linking to them from our official docs as suggested resources.

By the way, the name of your project slays me. You are one 'X' away from having me post this video every time you blog about Boxy:

LOL! Her soundtrack would actually make the game sound great! (Imagine an accompanying waka-waka sound effect in the background too along with this music looping forever)

Ok, I won't mind.

Gavin thanks for this tutorial. I'll mess with it later tonight =)I've been away from TGB far too long and this will help me get back in the swing of things.

No problem.

I just finished updating TDN TGB documentation to include the pathAStar2d, pathGrid2d, t2dChunkedSprite, t2dShapeVector, ActionMap, BanList, ConsoleLogger, and the FileObject class.
