Vietnam Project

Hey everyone! It's been a while since my last post, but here I am to show our new project which is thus far unnamed. The game will be a Single player/Multiplayer FPS game themed around the Vietnam War. The battles in this game are the United States against the Viet Cong or VC. Below are some pictures of our first map. The story for the map is below, along with a few pictures. Keep in mind that this is a WIP.

Scout helicopters have spotted a small encampment of Viet Cong guerrillas on a small island in the Perfume River delta. They have been using this small island as both a training area and a supply stash. If a helicopter assault is put in motion, many of the Viet Cong will escape into their tunnel networks, so a small squad of U.S. marines will dispatched on the eastern side of the island. Eliminate all of the hostiles on the island. Good luck soldier!

A view of the jungle. I'm happy with the result of the jungle. Keep in mind we have done much research to make the plants that are present, as well as the weather, realist to South Vietnam.

A picture of the encampment. This is the last part of the island that is not finished, and it needs a lot of work. I don't plan on making it too large as its supposed to be unnoticeable, however I will add a flag, barrels, creates, furnish the huts, and add an encamped gunner position.
