Sky Defender, created with TorqueX, is now available on the XBox Live Indie Marketplace.
This is a game I had originally created in TGB. Then when TorqueX came out I attempted to port it over. It worked well on the pc, but I had a lot of issues with the XBox version. Once I had time to really learn XNA, by completing and shipping StrikeForce Psi, I felt it was time to try again. I merged TorqueX into the game screens of my game engine and began the task of moving over the content that I could, and recreating what couldn't. I also added a new feature with the local high score list. One of the few things I would like to add in the future is a network high score list.
Sky Defender - Download it to your XBox now.
If you've tried TorqueX in the past and couldn't really get into it or felt it was too buggy, I would highly suggest going back and giving the newest 3.0 version a try. GarageGames has made a lot of improvements and it does make game development easier.
If anyone has any projects they are working on with XNA or TorqueX, I am available for contract work.
Thanks,
