Perfect Dork at GDC! Scandalous activities at the GG booth?

by Brit Baker · 05/08/2009 (7:57 pm) · 7 comments

Well, actually no scandalous activities at all. Look I'm trying to get you to read a blog post that only serves to direct you to another blog post, namely:

perfectdork.wordpress.com/2009/05/09/perfect-dork-studios-at-gdc-2009/

If I have to hint at seedy goings on to accomplish this end, I'll do it. In general, I'd like to think that the experiences of four dapper young (mostly) game developers at their first ever GDC would sell itself, even if no one pulled a knife on anyone else, no one got naked, and no one had their studio shut down after developing the same game for 13 years.

Anyway, if you'd like a little window into our great time at GDC showing our TorqueX game "Box Macabre" at the Garage Games booth hanging out with the not-at-all scandalous Garage Games crew, please clicky the link above.

If it helps, maybe if you squint at the pictures you'll spot the guy from Jon and Kate + 8 up to no good in some way.

Thanks!
Brit

Thanks guys! Michael, I did my best to keep things on the hush, don't blow your own cover! What happens at GDC stays at GDC.

Nice! I can say that certainly Box Macabre is the only XNA project I've heard of that I'm actually excitedly anticipating and probably going to be only the second I'd actually buy from community live games (the only other being Weapon of Choice). Keep it up and I'll be following your dev blog page!

It was nice to meet you guys in San Francisco and see Box Macabre in action again. And thanks for including a picture of my ear on your blog. It was afraid it might not have something to remember GDC by.

@Brit: I hope you keep posting your game progress here. Lots of people ask me about that "box game made with TX" all the time. :)
