Some Video
Well, after a few weekends of work my new game is now available in the App Store. Roll video...
In the Store
So, go ahead and get it now in the App Store. Just click on the nice App Store artwork that Apple provides:

Moving Forward
All in all the development process using iTGB was fairly painless. I completely built the initial prototype on my Windows machine and using iTGB I was able to be up and running on the Simulator on my Mac Mini in about 15 minutes. Thanks to Michael Perry for the nice docs.
In the next few weeks I am going to upload 4 or 5 short videos showing the whole development of iBabalu, from initial design sketches on paper to a running prototype with programmer artwork all the way to deploying the final build on the iPhone.
Next up will be working on creating a LITE version of the game and also an update to the full version with more songs and also some fixes to some stuff that I'm not entirely happy with.
But right now I have to tell you that it sure feels good to be able to look at this:

I want those videos, and I think you can get GG to give them special mention :)

Awesome! Looking forward to checking out those videos, great job on the game. The process you mentioned, creating most of it on the pc and then porting over to a mac mini is exactly what I will likely have to do (as I don't have my own mac) so I am especially interested in that part of the process.

Yesterday I modified iBabalus' description slightly in itunesconnect.com and shortly afterwards it disappeared from the "New Release" category for quite a while. Not the best thing to have happen when being listed as a new release is the one of the few times that your needle is more noticeable in the huge growing haystack of games. Learn from my mistake :)

I am going to get the videos together as quickly as I can - likely over the next couple of weeks after I finish off my first pass of release tasks. Right now I'm getting together a LITE version that if all goes well will be submitted this evening. I've added ads to the LITE version both to figure out the integration process and also to see what sort of return if any they make. I'll also see if I get any complaints from users about ads in the game even thought the LITE version will be free.Yesterday I modified iBabalus' description slightly in itunesconnect.com and shortly afterwards it disappeared from the "New Release" category for quite a while. That simulator for XCode is just so neat... it made me like XCode 2x as much... though, I still only like it 1/2 as much as VS2008 ;)

That simulator thing is pretty neat.
I wrote a little Objective C code the other day without ever looking at any docs on its syntax. I was going "what the heck do these '[' ']' do? -- how do I call methods/functions" :)

Great game there Kevin - and great tunes too. Bought a copy and left a review. Good luck!

Thanks for the support Dave. I submitted an update to the full version on Saturday night and then submitted the free LITE version this morning. So look for an update in roughly a week. No real big changes in this update, but the next update I submit will have new songs. Eventually I'll have a career mode in it.

I am glad that you shed some light on the iTGB porting scenario as I need to look into that for another project on the cards ... so I will be looking at your comments with great interest.
Congratulations again.
